WORKSHOP PROPOSAL

 

Workshop for professional or semi-professional circus artists and/or dancers.

15 participants maximum

6 hours

A shower is necessary close to the workshop.

 

L'homme de boue is a piece, where a juggler/dancer stands alone in a small circle, covered in clay.

The piece is about verticality.

Verticality of the body and verticality of juggling.

This piece works with clay, which is unstable, slippery, always changing. These properties offer the body new ways of being.

We propose to experiment with the clay and its influence on the body and movement on the show's circular stage.

 

In this workshop, we propose to share our experience of the creation of l'homme de boue, the work with the body, the clay and the choreographic writing process of the piece.
